Exchange, Return, and Refund Policy

This policy governs the right of withdrawal applicable to purchases made remotely through Indigo’s online store, as well as the terms and conditions for exchanges and returns, without prejudice to the consumer’s legally recognized rights.

Right of withdrawal

In distance contracts, the consumer generally has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without needing to provide a reason.

In the case of the purchase of goods, this period begins on the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the item.

How to exercise the right of free termination

To exercise the right of free termination, the consumer must notify Indigo of their decision through an unequivocal statement, specifically by email to:

The consumer may, if they so choose, use the Model Withdrawal Form provided at the bottom of this page.

Deadline for returning the item

After communicating the decision to withdraw from the contract, the consumer must return the item without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which they communicated that decision.

Alternatively, the item may be delivered directly to the physical store at the same address.

Return Policy

Upon receipt of the item, Indigo will inspect it.

Returns will be accepted provided the item is in a condition consistent with normal handling for the purpose of verifying its nature, characteristics, and fit, with no signs of misuse, damage, washing, alteration, dirt, or abnormal wear and tear.

The consumer may inspect the item to verify its nature, characteristics, and fit, but may not use it beyond what is necessary for such verification.

To facilitate the acceptance of the return, we recommend that:

the item retains its original characteristics;

it be returned with tags and in its original packaging;

the shipment include the proof of purchase and any other items that accompanied the order.

Return Costs

The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning items, except:

if Indigo expressly states that it will cover these costs; or
if the return is due to a defect, damage, non-conformity, or incorrect shipment.

Refund

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, Indigo will refund the consumer within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which it is notified of the decision to return the goods.

Indigo may, however, withhold the refund until it receives the returned goods or until the consumer provides proof of shipment, whichever occurs first.

The refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed with the customer.

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the amounts paid for the item will be refunded, and, where legally applicable, the delivery costs corresponding to the least expensive standard shipping method offered by the store.

Exchanges

Without prejudice to the consumer’s legal rights, Indigo may accept exchanges of items, subject to verification of their condition and stock availability.

Any exchange request must be sent to info@indigojewels.pt, indicating the order number and the desired item.

Defective, Damaged, Non-Conforming, or Incorrectly Shipped Items

If the delivered item is defective, damaged, non-conforming, or does not match the item ordered, the customer must contact Indigo via email at info@indigojewels.pt, indicating the order number and, whenever possible, including a description of the situation and photographic evidence.

In such situations, Indigo will cover the costs associated with the return or exchange process, in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on the case, the consumer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the contract, in accordance with current legislation.

Rejection of Return

If a returned item does not meet the requirements for cancellation, exchange, or return, Indigo will notify the customer that the request has been rejected, and the item may be returned to the address provided in the original order.

Legal Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to situations legally excluded, namely items made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized, where applicable
