Exchanges, Returns and Refunds
The user may return or exchange products purchased on the Indigo Jewels website in accordance with the legally prescribed terms, namely under the right of withdrawal, where applicable.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the user has a period of 14 (fourteen) days from receipt of the product to communicate their intention to return it. The product must be returned in perfect condition, unused, complete, and in its original packaging.
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, Indigo Jewels will proceed with the applicable refund or exchange, as agreed, using the same payment method used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Should a different refund method be agreed upon, this will not entail any additional costs for the consumer.
In accordance with Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, returns are not accepted for products that, by their nature, cannot be returned, including personalised, opened, or used products, or those which, for reasons of hygiene or safety, cannot be returned after delivery, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Requests for exchange or return must be communicated unequivocally to Indigo Jewels by email, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the order, stating the order number and, in the event of a defect, damage, or dispatch error, accompanied, wherever possible, by a description of the situation and photographic evidence.
For a return or exchange to be accepted, it is recommended that:
- the product retains its original characteristics;
- the product is returned, wherever possible, with its original labels and packaging;
- the shipment includes, wherever possible, proof of purchase and any other items that accompanied the original order.
In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which Indigo Jewels is informed of the decision to return, and may be withheld until receipt of the returned goods or until proof of their dispatch is provided, whichever occurs first.
The direct costs of returning items are borne by the customer, unless Indigo Jewels expressly states that it will cover them, or unless the law provides otherwise.
In the event of a return due to a defect, damage, lack of conformity, or incorrect dispatch, Indigo Jewels will bear the costs associated with the return or exchange process, in accordance with applicable law. In such cases, the consumer may be entitled, as appropriate, to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or cancellation of the contract.
If a returned item does not meet the applicable requirements for exchange or return, Indigo Jewels will inform the customer that the request has not been accepted, and the item may be reshipped to the address indicated in the original order.
Indigo Jewels reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with the conditions described above or that fall outside the applicable legal deadlines.
